Midsummers Eve in pictures

Pup sat by himself, reading his favorite book while we (and the rest of the villagers) dressed the pole.

of course ours were the prettiest crown (always is)

pup keeps an eye on the dancing-games around the pole

then home for a nap (pup+granny) while me, myself and I sloughed with some rhubarb pie, a cider and a book. Nice!

haven't had one taken since new years eve

on midsummers eve no one has to go to bed, the tradition say you should stay up all night. So pup sat along as we ate outside, and when he got too tired to sit up, we just folded back down flat.
