mothers day 2012

For mothers day my boys made me (and mom) dinner. Black Angus steak and then some other goodies. We did this on Saturday so there would be no rush to get home to bed.

 Starter for pup. He ate nothing, until he got a cheese sandwich =)

Starter for me. Delicious!

Main course. This wasn't spot on, all agreed it could have been better, and that the parsnip was way too bitter, wonder why, must have picked a bad one.

Banana split minus meringues, but instead the chocolate sauce was home made,  for dessert.

And as the picture shows, it was a truly guilty pleasure eating it =)

The night ended with a trivia game.

Breakfast the next morning, though I wonder if it was really necessary considering the feast the day before =)

And then a trip to the in-laws.

Were pup was running wild =)

Can you tell that I've spent 24 hours at home without my puppy-love? I can...
Here he donned his new cap himself =) He didn't like the result though, took it of, gave it to me and said "Mommy helping!" Of course I helped him get it like he wanted it, cap straight forward =)

At the cow release on the first of May, pup decided sleeping was a good option.

Half of the island was there....

And when the cows were out everyone left =)

And pup was still asleep =)

Today he got himself a new trucker hat. He picked the damned ugly thing himself and loves it, so what can I do. At least he's out of the spring hat which is now too warm for him.

My attempt at a timed post failed misserably, and my attempt to post it now instead failed equally much :) oh well, better luck next time i supposed. Today we're going to Bolstaholm, to watch the cows be let out from the barn after the winter. Just need to remember to take my allergy pills. Happy first of May everyone!!!
