Congratulations Mrs. Walker

Last Saturday, 22nd of October, my Lily-♥ married the man of her dreams. No, not Edward, but Greg, whom I suppose is the closest she got ;)


I've showed you glimpses of what I've been making them for a wedding gift, and since it has now been opened, I can show you the whole of it without ruining the surprise for anyone.

The doctor suspect that pup's continuous coughing is due to asthma, wohoo (not) and while we're waiting to come on a real investigation at the kids unit, he gave us some inhalers. The tube is awesome, I always wondered how you got little kids to hold their mouth tight around those small mouthpieces. Pup doesn't mind it at all,
at least as long as he gets to watch TV as we use it.

I hate headaches!
Seriously, I know there's pill's to take for it, but I've been popping so much pills in my life as far as headaches are concerned, that the one I'm sporting right now just isn't worth the pill because it won't go away anyhow, and it's also below my "worth to take a pill for" line on the pain-o-meter.
Still, I hate it. It makes me tired, cranky, mopey.

Buzzing Dove Intense Repair Express

Right now I'm happily buzzing Dove Intense Repair Express Intensivbalsam (intensive care conditioner) and loving it!!! It makes my battle-wary hair feel soft and smooth like silk!
I suppose it's the FIBRE ACTIVES-technology kicking in, going deep inside my strands and rebuilding them from inside. The MICRO MOISTURE SERUM gives nourishment and helps repair the surface of the hair from root to top.
The folder said my hair would be re-moisturized, softer and stronger, and for the first time (because I've read those "slogans" before on other products I've used) I agree. My hair doesn't feel brittle, dry and rough anymore. Actually it's not all good, I can't for the life of me get a hair clip to stay in my hair, it just slides down =) So, all in all, I'm a believer and will definitely keep using Dove Intense Repair Express, maybe not daily but after swimming and such, and I will also buy the rest of this series from Dove, because this I like, very much.

I don't have any "before" pictures of my hair, because I was all too eager to try it to be able to wait with using it until the next day. So, pup will have to do.

His hair is all crazy frizzy if I don't use conditioner on him, but last week he showered with his daddy after swiming, and I quickly snapped some pic's of him the other day.

Keep in mind that in the morning of the day that I took the pictures I had spent about 10-15 minutes detangling his hair with a comb, pictures taken just before lunch. After I took the first two pictures I combed it again, it took a while, it was full of knots, probably about 10 minutes again. And though it's combed and brushed with a soft brush it looks frizzy...

Tonight at bath time I used Dove Intense Repair Express on him. In the first picture I have just run the comb through his hair, because I forgot myself and then it was too late, because it just fell smooth instantly. I only caught one single little snagg. Then he got blow dried, combed again (can you call it combing when you place the comb at the top of the head and it just runs down like flowing water?) and then a few strokes with the soft brush.
That's what I call smooth pretty curls ♥

Finally got Lily's wedding gift done, here I'm attaching the aida to the back dressing. Not that I needed to dress the back, my stitches were neat enough, but I wanted to, it felt more "real" that way.

Every year in the end of September the merchants in town go wild and keep their stores open to 9-10pm. It's a -very- popular event, especially since many spice their "after hours sales" with special offers and such.

My shopping bag got filled with:
a pair of shoes 4€ (second hand, half price)
a bottle of gold paint 3,2€
lights for the bike 23€
two motif stamps 10€
and a cute little igglepiggle 6,4€
total: 47€

Hubs shopping bag:
nuts and snacks 10€
a humongous Lightning McQueen soft toy 48€ (after 40% of off ordinary price mind you)
a school book that he refused to tell me the price of
total: 58€

Hubs will give the huge car to pup tomorrow.... I will film and take pictures, I promise!

And we ended it with watching the "Dunder dancers" performing, 108 girls and one boy =)
