Anyone excited just yet? =)
There sure are con's to having D staying the night (Sundays the ferry leaves at noon, so he came home last night) such as:
- I'm NOT allowed to sleep in the middle of the bed. He insists he's intitled to half of the space...
- I'm NOT allowed to sleep on top of his duvet. I told him he could borrow pup's...
- I'm sure there were more things than this... Oh, whatever.
Yesterday was "All Saints Day/Eve", I did a crappy translate because this our holiday is very different from Halloween. It's a day to remember those you've lost. We also light candles on the graves and such. I figured I'd show you those I lit candles for this year.

Dad, accompanied by one of the hunting dogs. It was taken years before he got sick, but this was how dad always looked. Happiest when he was in the woods with the dogs, hunting.

Grandma and grandpa. Unfortunately I don't have any good pictures of them together, from before grandpa got too sick to live at home.

On a somewhat less grim and somber note, mom have knitted a few hats for the pup (I wonder how many heads she thinks pup will have...) and I decided to post some pictures of them

This one she bought the pattern and material for at the sewing fair. They had it on a shelf and it was just adorable! Though in this size it's almost more worm than hat...

Baby hat #1, if you use multi-colored yarn you don't have to make a pattern.

Baby hat #2, because #1 can't be used for a boy since it has pink dots... This though is unisex

All three hats, and the helping orange. You see how the hats are all sunk in? Well, I filled them out with the orange, and that also gives you a bit of a size measure...
