who let the cows out, who, who?
Yup, this Sunday (the first of May for those of you who has yet to be perverted by Holly) we're going out to a farm to watch as they release the cows out to summer pasture. I think the nuppper-pupper will love it. Though, the other day he said "Muuu" to a horse...

pictures
On Easter Saturday morning the nupper-pupper mounted the vacuum cleaner, while muttering oaths under his breath, I had a feeling they implied we'd be late for the big party and that broomsticks would no longer be enough...
Today he got some new clothes. A overall because he's about to rump the one he has to bits (and I prefer him not doing just that) this one has enforcements on knees and rump. It hung with another one just like it, same size and color, amongst the baby winter clothes. Only difference was this having a red price tag of 24,95€, whereas the other one didn't and cost 34,95€... I found no fault on this one, it might be that they had missed marking the other one (or the tag might have fallen) but they didn't hang with the other sale items so I took no chances, I took the one with the tag. If it has defects I couldn't see them, so then I don't care.
The short sleeve body caught my eye, and we're running out of them as far as sizes goes.
Then when I went to pay the girl said it was "take 2, pay for 1" on all sale items, so I had to go another round. I found nothing for me or D, but there was one pair of pup sized jeans hanging on the rack. Not that he needs them, but they were "free" and he needs them more than the rest of the crap hanging there. They were there because the button was broken, so they're from this seasons collection.
Grand (ehr, sorry, petite) Theft Auto
Bye bye granny, I'm taking of in your car
Granny now has a swing. Pup likes.
I got a track machine. Second hand, not perfect (it's self-driven, so it's at an uphill tilt all the time) but 300€ cheaper than the one I really wanted.
Yes, it makes our already cramped living room even crampter but I need to move my @$$ and this is the best alternative for me when D is away. And it's way healthier than just sloughing in the cough all night.
And it stows away OK, the track I really wanted (attract, or it's equivalent) would have fit on the other side of the pen, and thus been more handy, but this will have to do. Now it will just be to see if pup will let it bee. At least the security latch is on the inner side, so he can't reach that without me noticing him (if at all)

Buzzing Pepsodent White Now
About half a year ago I joined a site called Buzzador.com which has as it's main purpose to provide people (Buzzadors) who wants to test stuff and promote them to their friends and networks, to all kinds of companies.
A few weeks back I got a mail, asking if I'd be interested in Buzzing Pepsodent White Now, and I answered Yes. Then in the beginning of April a mail arrived letting me know I had been selected to join the campaign.
Today I collected my package from the post-office, and did my first "Buzz" just minutes later, since I met a friend there.
Then I went home to brush my teeth =)
Before and after the first brushing, these ones are taken in our bathroom, which has a very yellow lighting (and orange wallpaper) so I don't see much of a difference in the pictures to be honest, but with my own eyes I see some difference.

The toothbrush is a soft White System toothbrush, fun thing is, that's what I'm already using, though of medium texture. But as you can see, it was in dire need of replacement.
At first I was spooked by the amount of blue foam created, but that is needed to get a good layer of coat onto the teeth. There were two tastes that were sent out randomly. I received the Glacier Fresh that has been around since 2008 and I am happy with it. It's not a strong taste, I prefer the milder tastes as far as toothpastes come so this is perfect for me.
About 1 hour after brushing, and since then eating, my teeth still feel fresh. The coat will wear of faster or slower depending on how much saliva you produce, if/what you eat/drink and so on.
I am to brush with this twice a day for a month, so I figure it's unnecessary to post pictures every time, but maybe once a week?

Also, a big (not to say the major) part of Buzzing and being a Buzzador is letting other people experience the product. Now, some samples are booked already, but if you wanna try it out, give me a shout!

In this picture I see real difference, especially when clicking them up large. Thing to remember is, this is not bleach or color, so it can only make my teeth appear as white as they can be, not more, and some people just don't have that white teeth. This works so that it lays a "blue coat" (Blue Covarine) on your teeth, that acts as a opposite to the yellow on your teeth, and the optical illusion is instantly whiter teeth. This toothpaste also works to whiten/brighten your teeth in the long run.
I suppose I don't have that yellow teeth since I don't drink coffee/tea, don't drink wine and I don't smoke (which are all teeth-staining) but I am really looking forward to greeting this summer with a brighter, whiter smile =)

"sick" pup and some serious shopping
So, Tuesday me and the nupper-pupper stayed at home. Mainly because he had a temperature Monday night, but also because daycare had promptly told me he was having such a cough that he was not welcome back the next day.
Of course, after falling asleep 6:45 pm Monday night, he rose like the sun at 6 am. And rocked the show until 9 when it was nap-time. After some grumbling and pondering (about half an hour because a concrete truck and a pumping truck was working/pumping/rotating 5 feet from our bedroom window) he fell asleep and slept for 2 hours. Then he woke up and was, again, nothing but sunshine.
After lunch we hit the town...
I've been considering shades that goes over my glasses for a while now, because my other pair don't work with clip-ons. Not that the Silhouette ones does either, but they have designed their own solution so that's OK. They are from Polaroid, so I guess the price is fair. 55€
Also we bought a black zipper for a sweater I never use, because of the current zipper being awful, it scratches. 4,80€
We stopped by the toy store to buy cousin W something for her easter egg, last time they came here they had something for pup, but we had nothing for her (they live in Sweden). I bought two medium sized eggshells and then W's gift. 16,30€
After that it was the pharmacy for more painkillers for pup (they take down the fever) and then to the grocery store. I don't remember these prices, but since it's day-to-day stuff it's not really important.
But the major shopping was done while pup was asleep in the morning!
I got some stuff that I'll have to shrink in to, but motivation is always good, right?
5 shirts, 2 t-shirts, 4 jeans, 2 tanktops, 1 hoodie, 1 sweater, 1 velvet vest and 1 pair of shorts.
Also I got some stuff that fits now =)
3 jeans, 1 sweatpants, 1 cargo pants,1 jeans capri, 1 jeans jacket, 1 suit-jacket type of coat/jacket with sweater fabric, zipper and a polo neck underneath, 1 wind jacket and one military green spring/summer jacket.
and for work I got about a pile of stuff.
Price tag? 0,00€
Because I went shopping in the attic... I brought down all the clothes I stuffed away during my summer holiday 2009 when I was preggo with pup. Some (not counted above) are still waaay to small and will stay in the bags and be carried right back up there, accompanied by about a bag of fat-clothes...

oh well, this sucks...
Hubs came home the night to Wednesday, I'm pretty sure anyone knowing me on FB knows that. But... Today he shipped out again *sigh*
Not because he had to, but because he had to...
They called Thursday (after on Wednesday telling him all jobs for the summer was taken) saying they had a guy who got sick. And hubs needs the sea-days to get his papers.
But it sucks, it really does.
I still said I was OK with it, and I was/am. It would have been worse if he were to ship say Monday or Tuesday, after being home a weekend. As it is now, I have been working and thus the difference in my daily routine haven't changed much.
Just thought I'd let you know.

the sofa-transformation
This is what it looked like when I brought it home, albeit a bit grimier, I did wash the dressing while the sofa itself was still down in the garage. One of the seat cushions was missing it's cover.
To protect the uncovered cushion, and to hide all the unattractive stains on the very light fabric (stains as in someone had had drinks in the sofa and spilled) I used a bed set we have.
This weekend me, mum and pup has made a new cushion-cover from an IKEA armchair upholstery =) Unfortunately it was bright white, but at least the material was the same.
We had to do some patching though, because the cushions are insanely big. And because I ripped the fabric...
And after all the coloring was done. The new seat didn't get the same color, much due to it not being as worn and used as the rest, I figure we'll use it like this for a while, and then try coloring it again.
This picture shows the difference better, it's not really much more creased than the other cushion, but the dye has made almost a batik-pattern on it. And the under thread was apparently syntetic and shows, but still, it's way better than before =)
And then finally with all the new IKEA pillows and stuff. Looks pretty good to me =)

picture spamming
not the soda-pic's I talked about, and they're out of order for some reason, but I don't have the energy (or room on the mini laptop screen) to fiddle with it.
pupper-nupper prancing around in his prettily red shoes
me on the morning of the IKEA trip (company party the night before, I wasn't home before midnight...)
at IKEA, in one of the showrooms, there was a mini kitchen...
and the carts where obviously fun to ride
and running around was fun too... thought the pup, the mom not so much...
the result, not that visible, but the new pillows makes a world of difference when you sit down.
grandma bought pup a chair, to have at her place... I know I slouch from time to time, but not even I can understand how this can be even remotely comfortable...
granny also bought pup shoes/sandals. Why? Because they match the disney/CARS (steering)trike she bought him... *sigh*
removing all the snow makes spring come faster
helping with granny's b-day baking
and the bench assembly... that kid and cartons, it's beyond me. Our old yellow/orange cat was the same way, if he saw a box he squeezed himself into it... no matter how small it was...
