Emmaljunga 2013 sneak peek

About a week ago I spent a few hours away from facebook, reading a book. When I logged on just to check my mail before bed, I had about a gazillion notifications from facebook, since someone had thoughtfully tagged me in a post where a link to the sneak peek of Emmaljunga's 2013 collection was posted...

I have waited the allotted time to re-blogg this, because, well, I've been to lazy to fire up the big 'puter. LOL. It's true, I abhor blogging from the iPad, so I don't, but this thing seriously takes over 5 minutes to get operational...

Anyhow, all my pictures comes from THIS BLOGG! and if you want more pictures, and maybe a peek at the new twin stroller/pram with individual, interchangeable seats / bassinets I suggest you go there, I'll only highlight my wet pram dream for the moment =)

This chassi looks AWESOME! Real air filled tires in the back, and big swivel wheels in front. I want this for my next child! And since that is yet a few years to come, they'll have time to perfect it =)
And I want this color! It's aptly named "Apple" and it is gorgeous! And no, this is not the actual seat, at least the hood will look different since this is a Nitro City, and I want the Edge, and this the lower part at least will be different.
But it should look something like this =) I -had- to photoshop the two pictures, and oh the gorgeousness. Not a perfect match, because the angle wasn't the same but it'll do for now =)

Midsummers Eve

I'm ready for the festivities to begin =)

Pup decided that the best way to deal with the madness was to take a nap

We had leftover leaf garlands, there were a car nearby... 'nuff said. And my accomplice, and also mastermind of the heist, was my old daycare (OK, afternoon care) lady.

Dance games around the Midsummer pole

Pup and cousin running wild.

Why have a line to dry in when you can just dry your clothes in a tree and get that wonderful pine scent for free =)

Took a round with granny's row boat.

And then we went round and round and round with his 2€ secondhand doll stroller and my inherited old doll pram (which by the way is on it's way back to the originall owners daughter after it's been cleaned up)

going to the zoo

Ooopsie.... Somehow, another stroller made it into our lives... Though that means one pram is for sale, so maybe it's a good thing. This is his second time sleeping in it, the first time he had his legs pulled upp so high that not even a toe came below the knee-bar =)

I haz control,  you haz to obey my command...

Embroided cards going to someone who really gave me a pick-me-up when I dearly needed it ♥

And here's pup, a few sleeps later, all stretched out. Now you see why I thought the total roll-up was hilarious =)

A Sunday morning at the beach.

Somehow he goes completely and utterly def when told he's not allowed to throw sand/water/stones/grass...

... or that it's still too cold to swim in the water...

But oh so much fun.

You couldn't be mad even if you tried because he was so happy, just glowing.

And on the walk home he got to wear the extra clothes from the diaper bag. And yes, people do look funny at us when we come walking side by side, pushing an empty stroller each... Though, it's worth it for the times when you have to wrestle him into said stroller, strap him down and fold his pink stroller and place it between the seat and the hood, to get anywhere at all.

We also visited the newly re-opened Maritime Museum, they had a kids day. Pup liked the steering set, obviously.

The reason for the kids day was that Ruby, the ship rat mascot of the museum, celebrated her 16th birthday.

The reason I never became a sailor...

... is that I look completely ridiculous in these hats ;)

pimpin' the pram for spring

Our new seat didn't have a footsack, and since the color isn't manufactured anymore, it came down to sewing =) I missed a bit with the pattern, making it a inch or two too long, but it still fits, just not as snugg as it's supposed to.

Whilst at it, I made a matching diaper bag/nursing bag. Not a big one, but big enough for a few diapers, a change of clothes ans some treats.

I accidentally punched out the wrong size of hole on one side, luckily it turned out that I had misplaced the snap buttons so it didn't matter, now there are one on each side, as if it was meant to be like this =)

finally winter!

I thought I'd show you where my pup spends his days, this is his daycare yard, I'm in one corner, leaning on the slide, this is the longer part, where the porch meets the ground is the entrance to the house . You see the small wooden wall on the porch? That's where the daycares part ends, the part towards me belongs to the mental ward (old people with Alzheimer and such). At the far end is a corner filled with sand where the big diggers are allowed (they're not in the sandbox). Behind the fence is the door to the toy storage room.

The shorter part of the yard. Beside the playhouse is the gate in the fence where you enter the yard.

And this is the slide I was leaning on. It really is too bad that the daycare has such a small yard, it's my only issue with it, except for some personal issues but that's not relevant here.

Nupper pupper being pretty at his granddads birthday.

Moving granny's lawn... (last summer he walked after her and the red crass cutter with this, it was too cute for words)

Granny tries out my old snow racer, still fun obviously.

And me and the cutest snow monster on earth. Check out and compare with this one from last year

Someone got a haircut... I'm not thrilled, I got a bit short in front, not really anything to do about it, it was this or leave it (which looked weird with everything else cut) and it's uneven and so, but doesn't really show unless he's newly combed, which lasts about 5 seconds =)
I had to cut it, the back was always tangled and he was starting to cry every time he saw the brush/comb. It will grow back, and if it's less prone to tangle he might get to keep it.

We got ourself a new (second hand) stroller bag. It'll go to moms so I can get the flowery one home, it fit so nicely in the pram and it makes me happy just to look at it =)

Me and pup, out and about

Emmaljunga mix'n match

This weekend I've been having a blast!
I have been geeking out totally, uncontrollably and well, just been loving it!
I had all 4 (!) Emmaljunga prams/strollers in the garage, putting gue on the wheels and stuff (thus being the sombre and adult reason for all this) and also taking heaps of pitures of all the combinations I could think of.

Also, I went to a friends hose and had a photo shot with her pram, a much smaller one than mine. Adorable! I love the pictures I got there! So, for pram-o-rama, scroll on down =D
