First you gather up a gang of your friends, well, first of first you go buy the pizza's, there's three flavors but our store only had Salami and Mozzarella, so I don't remember which the third one was.
Then you follow the instructions on the pack.
I did, and of course I had the Salami in too long for my taste, hubs thinks it's perfect when it's like this and crispy in the edges though. The Mozzarella I took out earlier, and that turned out waaay better, in my book at least.
And then you enjoy your meal.
It's not better than every pizzeria out there, but surely better than some of our local ones, and it really beats the better part of the range in the freezers of the supermarket. I'd say that with a price of 3,49€ (S-market Åland) it's way better than expected and I feel very confident it will find it's way into our home again

midsummer weekend
Before the "wild partying" began, pup helped his grandmother with the vacuuming... He is bouncing...
| snoozing while everyone else is working |
I've told you, he sleeps through everything, they were right next to him, and like 10 kids screaming, cheering and dancing to the music...
The leave-frame. It's alder-leaves that has been ripped of off young threes and tied to cords.

The sailing boats, it is bad luck if they don't sail when the pole is up.
| the airplane, this is unique to mom's village and noone knows where it came from to start with |
The sunset over the ocean
The year of the first pole and the streamer
And at the top, "the fighting man", also a bad sign if his arms don't go round.
And since nupper-pupper showed no sign of waking for the rising, he got his flower garland anyway
The children of the village carrying out the crowns
Heave ho and up she goes. A pretty big crowd.
Then we danced around it, not all songs though.
Pup taking a breather in granny's arms.
Pup wanted to push his pram home, so I let him. I didn't think he'd make it all the way, but he did. And that's well over half a kilometer. That's very much for a little pup, and he wasn't just walking and holding it, he was really pushing, if I pushed too much, he started running with it... Which made steering it really hard, so I just pushed as much as he allowed.
The midsummer dinner ended with fresh strawberries and whipped cream
My little midsummer pup
MOM! Stop snapping pictures of me and the teddy (note that the teddy is wearing a helmet as well) and start pushing, we're standing still for crying out loud!!!
Pup's first tick. EW!!! Luckily only a newt, so it won't carry any diseases, but still EEEW!!!

the tivoli, the giftbag and the pink headgear
Something like this is how you'll spot pup on his way to daycare (depending a bit on what outdoors clothes has followed him home the day before) ready for some biking =)
Today when we got home, there was a big bag on our door. And the plastic crackled so funny.
Inside was a big beach towel with a polar bear and a t-shirt with lots and lots of polar-animals. It's from pretty little S and her mom, because we've borrowed them the Trekko for the 5 weeks they're home, they live on Greenland otherwise. S is born the day after pup by the way, and was next doors at the delivery ward.
Today we went to a tivoli that DUV (the welfare of the retarded, though that word is not really what I am going for, I cannot find a better translation) brings here every year. Pup was big enough for some rides... This one he loved (also the one in the video above), he laughed and leaned in the curves. He broke down completely when he had to leave it, granny ahd to forcefully carry him away.
Pull-a-string-lottery
And someone won a (tasty) flower
Yup, I've been on the batmo-scooter...
I tried throwing down 6 cans in a pyramid, but missed first by much, and with the second try even more, but to the other side... Though I cot to choose between a plastic trumpet or a garland of flowers for a consolation price. I took the silent one =)
But then I had to give it another go, and knocked ALL the cans down with the two throws I got. I had 3 varieties of cowboy hats to choose from. The other two were butt-ugly-hideous, soo I went wit sissy-silly.

climbing...
Me and mom was sewing today, and the nupper-pupper rummaged about as usual. He came over ever so often for cuddles and attention, and also to lend his expertise when we were sewing with the machines. After a while I noticed he was being very quiet, so I figured he was either absorbed in something or in a corner pooping. Then we heard something drop, like a button or something likewise small. That made mom turn around, and thus stepping to the side, letting me see what ahd been hidden exactly by her.
1,5 meters up stood pup, aiming for the next step. Seriously, the one he held on to (the one above the circles) is higher than me by a centimeter or two.
He's shown interest in the ladder before, but only managed the first step under plenty f huffing and puffing. This he did without a sound... Scared the hell out of both me and mom I tell you.

after a meeting with mr. Destructo
someone had to shower at diaper-change, and then was.. let's say reluctant, to let granny dress him again =)
I cut his top-hair short just before D left in the end of May. Doesn't help the curls much though
I seriously don't know how to get that little monster to respect my glasses. He scratched them of my face today. They hit the rock we were standing on and got chipped. I'm not sure I would have found them as they're kinda hard to find in gravel being the color they are, and they're so slim I have issues finding them anywhere if I'm not wearing glasses... A really nice, unknown, lady picked them up for me though.
The chip is pretty enough (would have shown better but picture is taken in twilight at 11pm) but very disturbing. You'd think that it's so far down it wouldn't distract, but it's awful! It looks as if there's a drop of water hanging there. And it casts specters of sun/light everywhere!
I'll have to call my optician first thing Monday morning for prices, and then the insurance company to check if there's any point in using the insurance. Good thing I have an extra pair of glasses at home, though they get krooked easily and I am bothered by the visible bow =)

hell of a day
Today what took me home from work was composing a scourging blog-entry.
-I woke up to a whining pup at 5:40am
-said pup was content to cuddle for 5 minutes, which was rather nice
-my eyes were itchy, scratchy and painful.
-I saw the doctor for that, I have an infection and should check up my allergies
-back at work people went home, leaving it to me to finish their stuff
-that meant I had to stay 2 hours extra, leaving work at 5:45pm
-to ride my bicykle home in the rain
-when I had gone about 100-150 meters it started to pour
-200 meters after that the road turned and from then I had the wind (and thus the rain) hard in my face all the way home
-at home I showered and then took the car to the pharmacy to collect eye drops
-then to A & S's place to drop of the pram they're borrowing for the coming 5 weeks
-then to the grocery store where the comercial said a truck-load of toys would be sold at great prices. No truck, no fantastic prices and just the same stuff as always in the toystore. Bought a sandwich for dinner though.
-finally gets to see my nupper-pupper at 7:30pm, and the first thing he does is smile widely, wave at me and say "Bye bye!"

naked pup in the garden
that's been the weekend motto =)
Friday began going to mum's after work, she wasn't there, but came just as we finished dinner. Pup ran to greet her, butt naked, across the yard, I got the best photo of that =)
He then continued the night with peeing on the mat's soaking in water, peeing on the stairs and on the porch. All in all a good record for someone who's never been diaper-less for a longer period before.
Saturday we shopped at the new S-market store on our way to mom's, rustled about and then in the afternoon went to see baby-second-cousin Alarik (tradition, when someone don't give up the intended name of the baby, you call it by the calendar, and he was born on Alarik). Poor thing's only 2½ weeks old and had heat-rashes all over his head, some filled with puss (UECK!) but hopefully they'll get better now that we have somewhat cooler weather coming this way.
Pup fell asleep before I wanted to go home, so he slept over while I drove home to my own comfy bed =)
Sunday I woke at 5:30am, went to the bathroom and then back to bed to sleep until 8. NICE!
Around 9, I got out to moms, to be greeted by a sunshiny pup.
After lunch we went to a flea market and then to the in-laws and spent the rest of the day there, running butt naked in their garden as well =)

weekend
and for what?
We can go to moms if we want to, we're always welcome at the in-laws.
...
but it's not the same. I want my own yard, I don't want to have to spend half an hour with all the packing, getting the pup to comply, stuffing stuff in the car, remembering stuff and running back up and so on and so forth and then go, only to spread my naked toes in the grass. I wanna just step out of my own back door and be there.

Meh
I know that sounds depressing, but that's the truth of it.
I cannot take this crap that goes around and around and has done so for 3½ weeks without turning into this. I am not depressed, not yet, I'm just mopey, moody and has a tight ball the size of a basketball where my stomach should be. I try to tell myself that I don't care, but I don't even think I'm fooling myself anymore.
Diet? HA! yeah right, not in this condition at least.

the new clothes
All pup's clothes where correct, and right sizes, and the prints were good and so on (I always check right away, have had bad luck with really crappy prints some times, not from Me&i though, never from them) so all his four items, the brown pants, the pug leggings, the garden body and the chicken jumpsuit was keepers.
Apparently I had missed ordering the blue dress, well, no big loss since I was fairly sure it wouldn't fit me but still... The tunic fitted, barely, I could just coax it down below the boobies, not sure it would have stayed if I moved around. The hem ended just where my belly-fat-overhang ends, so another 5 cm I would have wanted, and it was so wide! The S version on display at the party did not have that much extra fabric, I could seriously have fitted twice into that L tunic at the hem... It wasn't flattering I tell you, not at all.
And as I suspected, the white leggings were big up top, I had to either yank them up to my bra or roll them down on my hips for them not to slide down, and still they were so tight on the thighs that every dimple showed...
I just realized, I never posted a picture of the puggy leggings for pup, I thought I had missed ordering them, but apparently it was the dress, oh well, it's better this way. Here they are any way, they're size 98/104, so they're waaay big, but I figured he'll probably need them in future winters, and they were at a good price so =)

pool-party
The pupper loved the freedom, since there was gates before all stairs, he was allowed to roam free, wherever he wanted to go. And there were brisk winds, so the light ball rolled on it's own account and was mighty fun to chase, though the reflected guy was a bit suspicious I think...
There even was a pool...
There were musical performances, mainly by the mother-in-law, her sister, brother and mother, though pup did contribute as well =)
And swam in the pool with grandpa
and ran away to see the "caaaws"...
at the end of the night, the one who partied the hardest also slept the hardest...
