uhm, yeah...

We had our fall kickoff with work last Friday. We were to wear funny hats and mustaches (the pic with the "stache" wouldn't load unfortunately) But since Misty do love it when I post pictures of myself, this one is for her =)

My artistic contribution (we made another one, to a given theme, but that one is not proper for a PG-rated blogg....) being a study of wine, and showed "staches" and hats

And this morning my artistic contribution was entertaining a pup after a maximum of 2,5 hours of slep... Luckily he was easily satisfied this morning.

How can you see this and not smile with your whole being?

And to make his morning even better, after having had 2 episodes of "in the night garden" and 1 showing of "cars" (the disney/pixar movie) and then the playground, he got a car... And was delighted that it matched his teddy-car, which by the way has it's own spot in bed come night.

Welcome sweet baby girl

Our delivery ward buddy W became a big brother last Thursday. A teeny tiny little sister, I held her today, I think pup's bunny weighs more... Such a little shrimp =) Cute as a button, and a spitting image of her brother.

I made the card myself. I enjoy making cards, this is a new favorite way of mine, using stamps and coloring pens and then different papers and such. I don't have what it takes to start up scrapbooking or anything, but the occasional card I really enjoy making.

Found these at the charity, cost me 4€ and considering the looks of them, it's a fair price. Though I fear they might be too small for my feet =( pity since these high (fold down) ones are the only ones I think look good. Oh well, can always sell them on, or give them to the niece.

what did you do 10 years ago?

I was working my 2:nd day at my new job as toy assembler on a local factory. Heard on the news a plane had crashed, and when I got home I spent the rest of the night in front of the TV, worrying about relatives who lived and worked in NY/Manhattan. They made it unharmed luckily.

On our honeymoon we visited ground zero, and it was emotional, very emotional. No doubt worse for many closer to the disaster, not trying to "steal their pain", but I don't think anyone was untouched by that disastrous day 10 years ago.

I'm cross stitching, or sort of. I'm pattern-making for the lettering. I have charted letters in the computer (with some fixing on the ones who don't look good to me) but the numbering I have to make myself. Not hard per se, but they got to match the lettering...

Oh well, maybe I'll show you a sample one day =)

tired, tender and thoughtless

that about sums it up actually.
Tired due to life in general.
Tender because training today was rough, not really, but took a lot of strength, will have training ahe tomorrow.
Thoughtless... Well, due to the above, I have hard forming coherent thoughts *LOL*

no house

Well, the pictures was nice.
That was actually all that was nice. The rest were in various stages of renovation, only one bathroom to be finished by the seller. So basement (with sauna door that wouldn't close) and upper floor had a lot of attendance to do before being all nice.
Turned out that the renovations that had been done the last 8 years had been done by the people living there, so not everything was as good as you'd want it. OK, so I'm picky because my sister and her hubs have done their upper floor all by themselves (it was just an empty shell when they moved in) and it's still good looking after many years, you know, there's a visible quality to it, not as this house that pretty much shouted "home made" if you know what I mean...

So, no house for us just yet.
I think it will be a grat house for someone like a carpenter or such, who has the skill to continue the renovation and perfect what is a bit amiss.
