The pants has arrived, he refused to pose for me and on his way to daycare that day he pooped and it leaked... The sweater needed to be taxed in, so I'll get it tomorrow, will try to get him to pose then, though he's not really obedient of late *LOL*

The wonderful Oilily bag has arrived.
It shows of wear and such, but since pup will surely not always be kind to it, that just feels right, I don't have to worry about him ruining something in mint condition so to speak.

lucky grandma

Pup's grandma retires the first of August, though she'll have summer vacation first, so she quits working in the middle of June. Then she can't read the "other" newspaper at work anymore, and since yesterday that paper had an "iPad day" with a good offer for iPad2 + e-newspaper for 2 years she decided to go for it. They also had a competition where one could win an iPad2. Mom entered herself, and I entered me, pup and hubs. Just as we got back home mom got a call, she had won the iPad2! So when her newspaper-pad arrives she'll have two :)
And hubs has been wanting one a while, so he's a wee bit jealous XD

disappointed customer

So, if you've read the last posts you know I ordered shoes more than a month ago. Yesterday I had had my fill of waiting for them (BTW, I have also given up on the books and ordered them from cdon.fi and by now don't care if they're the right size anymore) and took a turn by the store to ask how much longer they thought it would take.
Long story short, the girl couldn't find the order, though she remembered us doing it, and they would call me. This morning they called "The shoes are here!"
Happily I rushed there after work, eager for my new beauties.

I got this:

The male model in size UK 7,5.
I ordered the Q (female) model in size 6,5.
Not to mention, I ordered the BUDGIE GREEN one...
but this was all they could get...

Need I say the dark and depressing canoe's did NOT come home with me? Instead a pair of Haglöfs Crag Q in the color Budgie Green / Lilac size 6,5 is on it's way to my mailbox as I write =)

Swimsuit, sportsbra and crocs. The other bra seemed to be out of stock and will be shipped later. Oh well, at least I have a whole swimsuit again =D

waiting and longing

I am waiting for quite a few things right now...

I'm waiting for a book or two... And has been for over a month. Or, they came, well two out of three came, but only one in the right size... And they said they'd order the correct ones, all of them, at once... Yeah, well, I'm getting anxious to get on with my reading of the series...
I'm waiting for part two of "A storm of swords", "A feast for crows" and "A dance with dragons".

A pair of Haglöfs Crag Q, in lime, with either marine or purple lines, depending on which the store gets hold of.

 I was at a Blingo party a month ago, clothes should have arrived within 14 days, but since the company is new here, and not used to work over the tax-barrier it has dragged out. Sweater and a pair of pants for pup.

This here gorgeous piece of bag is on its way to my mailbox via a wonderful person who I had never thought would do such a thing for me. I am so deeply touched I have trouble finding the right words to express my gratitude. And as much as I love the look of this bag, the action/gesture from this person is worth so incredibly much more.

The swimsuit and the shoes were the primary motive of this order, the bra's were because of the discount (-33% of brand if ordering 3 pieces or more) and because they were pretty and I hope they fit.
Shoes for pup well needed, he has the same in smaller size and he loves them, he squeezes his feet into them and walk around with his heels on the outside... And I really need a new swimsuit, the one I have is falling apart, for real. The two clasps that holds the sholder straps have broken and I now make due with a alternative closure of passing the back clasps through the loops of the straps. But I saw yesterday that the seems are just a sigh away from tearing apart as well... Please arrive soon! And pretty please, fit me... according to my customer page it was shipped today =)

It has been called the slow happiness, and that is true. There is no point to rushing your embroidery, that will just make you misread your chart and then you'll have to undo a whole heap of work when you find it out =)

A baby gift made up all in whole stitches.

 All back stitches done, it makes a massive difference, don't you think?

And finally mounted and framed, with name and date of birth, and to fill out the empty space I added the zodiac sign.

If you're sewing for siblings, it's always nice to match the motives =)
