Youtube playlist

The last few days I've been putting together a playlist on youtube, containing songs that I somehow relate to people and/or places. I've been wanting to do that for some time now, but just never got around to acctualy doing so.

I figured I would share it with you, though it is not yet complete. Might never be :) I don't know what makes me connect certain songs with people. Of course, some are really obvious, like it's the persons favorite song, others are more obscure.

I will not say who is related to what song, or why. But if you really, really badly need to know if , for example, "Cars Movie Soundtrack (Sheryl Crow - Real Gone)" is related to you, e-mail me and I'll tell you yes or no.

Here it is: Songs related to people/places

Day 10: One Quote That Describes Your Life Right Now.

I live through music, and can love song for no more than that I love how a few words bend in a choris, or verse. I can love it for a synth loop or a drumbeat, I can love it for it's lyrics or just a single word.
Here comes my quote, from the top of my mind.

Wake me up when it's all over,
when I'm wiser, when I'm older.
from "Wake Me Up" by Avicii

Day 5: Six of Your Favorite Books

So... No, can't do it. I'll have to do series :)

  1. Magicians Tale by Maggie Furey, my first ever fling with Fantasy, I never went back :)
  2. Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams, I own the full series in both Swedish and English.
  3. Under the Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi, she has a very compelling language.
  4. A Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin, I hate the story, but can't stop reading.
  5. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, because he is the father of Fantasy as a genre, because he deared what no one else did, and because the books are awesome.
  6. Twilight series by Stephenie Meyers, because no author have ever toutched my heart with his/her words like SM did. She rocked my world and it is still spinning after 5 years. Because I found some of my greatest friends through these books. Because they made ma laugh, cry, scream out loud and most of all, because she spellbound me so completely with her way of writing that I have never experienced anything like it. Thank You!

Day 4 Seven People Who Inspire You and Why?

At the moment, I'm not very inspired at all, at least by any specific person, but I list some of my all time favorites:
  1. Margot Sathaye
"Margot spent many years training and living in Japan where she attained the highest grade achieved by a non Japanese woman.Margot was a Kodokan 7th Dan and the first non-Japanese woman to be made a Kodokan instructor." quote from: http://www.kanosociety.org/old_news.htm

To me she was a fabulous coach, a true inspiration and a very kind person who still held her own against the establishment.
  2. Pup
He inspires me every day, to madness, to greatness, for good and bad.
  3. My sister.
She inspires me a lot, but I can never live up to it in my own mind.
  4. Misty
She makes me want to be a better person.
  5. Music
It's not a person, but music is created by persons, and are my greatest inspiration whatsoever.
  6. Honey inspired me to do this list ;)
  7. Stephenie Meyer
She inspired me, rocked my world, set everything I knew derailing. Thank you! For books, friends, laughs, tears, writings and ramblings. You will never know what you gave me, but I thank you with all my heart!
