The trip consists of a 2,5 hour ferry ride, then 1,5 hour drive by car, and then almost 4 hours by train. My plan was keeping the pup awake until the train, get some lunch into him and then he'd sleep for a few hours until we'd stop after a bit over 3 hours to change trains... Well, he fell sleep, though I swear I tried my best to keep him awake, 20 minutes before the change...

He made no notice of me loading him onto the stroller, or getting them both on another train, or me loading a backpack to the footrest, thus ganging out his feet...
They had a kitten named Bambi ♥

Wanna guess what my pup liked best? It was easily 5x5 meters big... and all the train wagons you could dream of (though pup lost interest when he realized he didn't need to steal from the other kids when they turned their backs... sigh...)
Here they are, all matchy matchy (yes, I made the top/tunic for them), in the basement, aka Santa's Workshop, and watching as the Santa Spaceship takes of. It was all lights and sounds and rumble, very exciting for 2,5 year olds =)
The kids look like they had lots of fun! I like the picture of him playing with the trains and all the reflections and the two of them looking over the fountain together...you can show that at their wedding ;)
